If your club

TAX BREAKS FOR SPORTS CLUBS
I have updated the note at
the bottom of this
page. Apparently about 60% of the money set aside for this scheme has
never been claimed!
Members of Community Amateur Sports Clubs
(CASC’s) can claim tax
rebates on certain types of fund raising. This could bring clubs
additional income of 28p in the pound. Details and the necessary forms
can be found at http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/casc/index.htm
where you can download and print the
necessary forms CASC3 and CASC4 – the other forms are not required. You
will need to produce a club constitution to an agreed format and
guidance on this can be found at http://www.cascinfo.co.uk/
Please note that the League cannot offer advice
on
this scheme. Your County Football Association may have some information.
